JOHN CAUTHEN

I am a native North Carolinian, and a graduate of Appalachian State University. I founded First Call Home Inspections, in 2006 and have inspected thousands of properties in central North Carolina.

As a NC licensed home inspector, I complete 12 hours of education each year, and as a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, I complete an additional 8 hours of training.

I attend numerous professional meetings that focus on home inspection and electrical practices to help me better understand changes in construction techniques, local municipal codes, and new construction materials that are used to construct homes today.

In 2019, my business was rebranded as First Call Property Inspections to accommodate the growing need for commercial services in the Triangle area. As such, First Call Property Inspections brings the same level of service, experience and communication to every client throughout the inspection process, whether residential or commercial.
