As a homeowner myself, and owner of investment property I know that purchasing and maintaining a home can be the biggest and most satisfying investment any homebuyer or family can make. All the services I provide keep this in mind when I inspect a home. It’s my job to indentify, record, and help you understand any findings and direct you as necessary to a corrective solution.
As an experienced inspector, I am familiar with many of the building practices in the area and the workmanship seen in many neighborhoods throughout the Triangle. Each month I attend three professional meetings focusing on home inspections and electrical practices to increase my knowledge of the various new building products, changes in code and building techniques constantly changing in the area.
I limit myself to only two inspections a day so I have time to make a detailed assessment of the home and have enough time to answer your questions. Some inspectors will schedule three of four inspections in a day; I do not feel this is enough time for most homes.
I will walk the roof, explore the entire crawlspace, attic and test every system in the home if possible. You will receive a detailed written report - usually the next day - outlining each item with pictures and I will make a follow-up call to you to see if you have any questions.
